Feng Shui

I'm a bit of a 'geh poh' person, anything under the sun I would like to know a bit here and there, as long as it's nothing too complex for my brain to handle. But just a little bit, not much, so I'm a "Jack of all trades, master of none".

Like physiognomy and numerology, I'm not too into it but due to my 'geh pohness' I know high nose bridge is a good nose in physiognomy indicating good career and prosperity for men, good marridge and also wealthiness for women, while people with high forehead are smart people. Knowing for the sake of knowing.

Recently, my dad's house in Serdang was vacant and he got a Feng Shui master over to 'diagnose'. Generally he taught how we should place the furniture, everything was fine. He moved from outside the house to inside, living room to the kitchen, and room to room. When he came to my future room I paid extra attention and he said no ceiling fan in bedrooms.

-_-

That's the only thing I asked for for the whole house. I so wanting a ceiling fan because my current room only has a air-cond and that was from the first day we moved in making it 17 years old this year and I can't turn it on and off every now and then because that's too much for the antique too handle. When it's off the room is like an oven, then I would wish I have a ceiling fan. A standing fan is not the same and can never does the job as good, it blows only to a single direction and blows all my notes away!

So I thougt it was bullshit.

I think it's more about the art of creating a harmonious environment so that you and your family can live comfortably and also helping with the relationship. If the advice is reasonable then I'll take.

A friend of mine, his family members seldom speak to each other. Not that they are not good among each other, just that they seldom spend time together and  do some talking. After work, they eat together without much talking and go back to their own rooms. It's has been like that all the while. Then I realise they seldom spend their time in the living room. They have a set of wooden classy-looking table and chairs but not very much utilised. Probably because it's not very comfy and you won't spend hours sitting on it. Also, they don't watch TV. Further cutting down the opportunity to spend time together. So I would say it would make a whole lot of difference if they change it to cosy sofas and simply by subscribing to Astro.

Dear friend, this is the advice from the cheat one Feng Shui Master Yee to you.

The Leading Actress (For Once)

I feel like a leading actress in some romance movie.

To cut it short, few guys have been asking me out one after another, including this guy who brought me up the hills with magnificent view and confessed to me and another one who always asked me out to some classy restaurants and wanted to cook for me. Okay, it sounds glam but it ain't so because I know they are not the one. A & B like me but I like C and this C guy doesn't like me back. Apparently cupid has messed up with his job!

These are the familiar scene you have watched in movie/drama. To console myself, the leading roles often have to tumble and fall before they got right other half, and I guess I'm in the midst of the show and a romance often has a happy ending.

There's a phrase for this, "Wanted by many, taken by none, looking at some, waiting for one."
