Brittle

I'm constantly in a brittle state of mind.

This minute I'm happy but next minute I turn gloomy.

This minute I mentally talk myself into believing everything will be alright but next minute I'm not so sure.

These days, it just fluctuates like stock prices. Tiny little things make my mood rocket and plummet like roller coaster. I'm going crazy anytime soon.

Babies

My newest baby(30092009), Canon Ixus 95. Green was the only colour left, nvm, green is healthy.

With my budget all I could manage was a mid-range camera.

I try to make myself to take a photo every one or two days. There is this saying among the photography enthusiasts, 'a photo a day keeps the fungus away'. Of course I wouldn't want my baby to collect dust or to grow fungus in the cupboard.

Dell 1420, another baby of mine, the 2/3-yr-old lappy.(Time flies)
I used to play a lot of DOTA and red-alert(♥) with it.

It was me with the newly bought lappy, my hair was still short back then.

I'm using a SE K660i currently but I'm still missing my sudah-hilang SE W810i. It's very pretty....

My friends were very amazed with the battery life. There was once, I took photo for friend on her birthday celebration from day to night(300+ pics) and the battery didn't die on me.

After I lost it I did consider to get the same model again. People who own it normally keep it as the second phone even when they upgrade their phone later. It's very solid and nothing went wrong during the 6 months I had it. And I downloaded very nice themes for the phone one....now I can't find so nice theme for my current phone, prolly because K660i is not as common as W810i. Also, W810i took very nice macro shot, which is a function K660i doesn't have.

Cheers Palace

This is so far one of the most luxurious meals I've ever had.

It was my auntie Jess's birthday and my uncle(Jess's husband) gave us a treat at this seafood restaurant.

That time(July '09), my aunt was having goiter so she wanted to take in more iodine. Quite a farfetched reason but my uncle was generous enough to grant her the wish. Obviously he was making money from his investment.

I always think auntie Jess has got the nicest husband in the world.

Canada Oyster

California Geoduck

It was the first time I had geoduck.

Boston Lobster

The first time I had so much of lobster. There were only Jess, Jess's husband, my bro, I, two kids and a maid there. The kids didn't eat much and the maid didn't really eat so the rest of us had kinda big portion of everything.

The soup, to quick-boil the seafood.

The boy, Jun Yen.

The younger brother, Jun Wei.

The restless boy was doing his usual stunt again.

Notty boy.

Scotland Clam

This is very yummy, has got cheese on top of it, I ♥ cheese.

All my favourite food happen to be very fattening one, chocolate and cheese.

Red Snapper

Already half eaten.

Lobster Sang Mee

My favourite food of the day, not the lobster but the mee, after so much of 'sang lang'(cold)food and finally I could have something to warm the tummy. My brother seconded this.

But now I'm missing the meal already.

Birthday Greeting

This is a PSP look-alike birthday card, cool?

It's by SUNNY instead on SONY and a cow instead of a tortoise (Mario), haha.

Nowadays birthday cards are so creative and fun.

The mandarin words read 'becoming more and more pretty'.

I also attach a small gift to the card.

It's a cardholder.

I can only send small gifts so that they can be fit into the envelopes because they are to be sent to Aussie. Last year, it was a exquisite bookmark and a clover leaf necklace the year before that.

I like to choose things small little things that might come in handy but people would seldom buy for themselves.

I have been going to the gym lately.

Only RM1.20 and I can stay as long as I want, syok!

It was a weekday morning so I can conquer the gym alone. Hope I can be more persistent and shed off all the excessive fat.

P/S: I didn't know she has moved, the birthday card is on its way to greet no one. =/

Feeling Shitty

I realize that I could not possibly the only one who’s in the same state as I am. Wow, what a relief!                        -Inferior Poet

I can't agree to that statement more. There are tons of people out there who are feeling as shitty or even shittier than me, a few commentors of the post totally speak out my inner voices. Reading them makes me feel less shitty because I know I'm not alone.

A nice post to read on when one feels like killing oneself.

During CNY this year, I struck 2nd price of Magnum, winning me RM3150.

I was born in the year of Tiger, and the very famous fortune teller, Peter So Man Fung(I'm kinda superstitious) who forecasted Anita Mui and Leslie Cheung's death said at the beginning of the year that Tigers would have a great year ahead, and in fact the greatest among all the other zodiacs.

When I won I thought, "Wow, he is so right, my day has finally come."

But I think winning Toto out of the fewer than 5 times I bought numbers actually exhausted my quota of luck for the year already. Luck has never stand by my side since then.

It's October now and I can already conclude that it's indeed a very sucky year I have, maybe excluding the months I had my internship eventhough I didn't like the job much.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

There is this saying, 'When life gives you lemons, make lemonade."

It sounds meaningful enough.

But the problem is, I don't know how to make lemonade out of lemons.  =/

Task for Holidays

There goes my task for the holidays. =DD

And at the same time to prepare for ACCA exams on December though.

This is the picture I took with my canon ixus 95. Satisfactory macro shot.

To test how the camera perform at night. I cincai took because I didn't want to attract too much attention at the station.

I was really torn between choices before I finally made up my mind to get this camera. I actually wanted to get Panasonic DMC-FS25 as the price is reasonable for the features it provides. I also did some survey on the net and it gets good feedback. But then the seller told me with the same price I can get a Canon already and everyone knows Canon takes vivid pictures. At the same time, Canon was giving out 3-yr-warranty. Then I was in dilemma. Die, which to take?

I also read from Xiaxue she actually had a Ixus and it always overexposed her pictures so she didn't like it.

Anyhow, I went for Canon eventually because of its better-looking design, the brand, and the warranty. Also because I found a shop that selling it cheaper than what other sellers offered. So I thought it was good deal.

Luckily I did some survey before I went to buy the camera. The staff wanted to sell me lens filter for RM130. I remembered reading story about buyers being conned to pay high price for cheap filter in lowyat net. So I refused to take the lens filter there. Then, I brought the camera to other shops to ask about the lens filter. I found one that is selling for only Rm60. When I reached home I checked Lowyat net again and I realised I can actually get one at RM50. But I'm still happy I got the camera at good deal.
