The Rabbit House

When I was young, my cousin sister was my best playmate probably because we were of same age. We were very close ever since I had memory eventhough we couldn't communicate orally yet. Haha. This is because before my pre-school education I could speak only Hakka and she could speak only English. But we managed to play masak-masak, hide-and-seek, Barbie Doll together through body language.

This is a toy we made almost 10 years back. All these while I had been keeping it on top of the cupboard because she warned me not to throw it away.

We made a miniature house using some unwanted stuff. Then, we made two rabbits representing us and making this officially the rabbit house.

This is the living room at the 2nd floor. The teapot I took from my Barbie Doll. The orange thing is dumbbells, also my Barbie's gadget.

It has got two opening, linking to the kitchen(right) and the washroom(left). Can you see the toilet bowl and the frying pan? The toilet bowl is damn cute.

Closer look at the bathroom.Fully equipped with sink, toilet paper,towel,trench...

The other side of the bathroom has got bathtub, shower head and soap tray.

The bathroom is mostly made by my cousin sis. She is more of a art person, quite ingenious. Can write well and draw well. Now she is working at advertisement line, really her kind of things. She is a blogger too.

The kitchen, also made by her.You can see the very cute knife, chopping board, the standing knife holder...

Another view of it.

The lower floor which is the bedroom.

Very roughly made, because this is done by me.=/

The TV, this is the best I could draw.

The bulky desktop, that was what we had back then.

Very laoya and damn big air-con, very cincai drawn picture, and a telephone, with the receiver hanging on the floor.

Haha, childhood memories. But I'd given it to my younger cousin sister already, together with all my Barbie Dolls, or else they will all be thrown away already.

PS: Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, all taken with my camera phone. That's why I'm contemplating to get my own digital camera.

Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You..

This is a very touching video I've come across..
The lady is a very famous Taiwanese blogger. She has a boyfriend who is 6 years younger than she is and this year, they are together for the 11th year already. This video is made by her friend as a gift on their anniversary. I don't know the story between them much but watching the video itself almost got me breaking into tears already.I think it's the song, very contagious.

Enjoy!

My Stay at SDMC

This year itself, my mum had operations twice because she was diagnosed to have had colon cancer.

It was very early stage when found out but we didn't want to take a chance. Few weeks later, she was in the hospital ready for the operation already. It was quite a major surgery, part of her big intestine had to be remove along with her rectum.

After the surgery, my mum actually asked the surgeon the length of the intestine he had actually removed, he just smiled and didn't want to answer. My mum asked again, "8 or 9 iches?" Then he said, "Around there." So I believe it's longer than that. The surgeon added, "Not to worry, it's useless anyway."

During the first surgery(April), the surgeon cut a stoma in her stomach for her to pass motion while giving time for intestine to join properly. My mum couldn't take the surgery very well, she had fever for a few days and suffered from the side effect from the anesthetic (believed to be), she couldn't pass urine by herself, a small tube has be inserted into her urethra when she felt like going to the ladies(luckily this problem has gone after she was discharged). She was not allowed to eat or drink for the first two days after the operation, only sip of water to dampen her lips, so pity. Her weight dropped from 40kg to 35kg.

During weekends I took over the shift from my sister so that she can sleep at home. We didn't pay for extra bed so staying overnight means having to sleep on the armed chair, which was very torturing.

And I brought my lappy as my companion.

Apa boleh buat kalau bukan facebooking? I was playing Restaurant City.

By then, my mum was much better already, can eat soft food and walk around the room.

You can see my mum's left arm is swollen from the drips.

The next bed patient's daughter and my mum. She was so curious with everything, when I was using the laptop, I heard her asking her mum, "Why the aunty beside has got TV?" Then my mum ajak her to come over. She was 4 years old,I think her name is Sabrina or Natasha.

The view outside the window.

* * *

In July, my mum came back for the second surgery.

This time round, I took leave from the college to accompany her.The surgeon will seal the stoma and re-join the small intestine to the big intestine. After this,my mum could go to the toilet like normal.

The Pink Thing.

I bought TPT from the pharmacy downstairs to teman me.

We got the same bed again. The number 5880 did come out the first day we came in.

This was the place I eat, sleep and study! That time was right before my midterm so had to be rajin a bit.

But there's always time for camwhoring.

I actually kinda liked the food there in SDMC, I had no idea a hospital actually provide good food. So, the few days there, besides studying, buying books(I didn't bring my laptop this time, I need to study what), I also pretty much enjoyed discovering good food there. The fish porridge there had a lot and a lot of fish slices. Even ordinary fried bihun here doesn't taste like ordinary fried bihun. And the bread is super soft and yummy *droolss*.

My mum is now left with a vertical 10 inches scar stretching out all the way from her abdomen to her lower tummy and a two inches one at the side where the stoma previously was. However, she is fine now and getting stronger.

Fish Spa

I have a lot to blog about, but editing my old posts itself already worn me out,*yawn*.

I wanna blog about the fish spa that I went for quite some time ago, around the beginning of the year.

I had never tried this before, putting your feet into the water with some fishies sounds easy but it took me sometime to make some mental preparation and force my feet into the water.

Heels first.

Look at the fish around my feet.

Very ticklish but quite bearable after awhile.

I kept telling myself, "You are paying for this! Just do it!" This was what my friend who went for a fish spa before me told me to do, quite effective.=D

The place wasn't very large, but looked comfortable.

Ade couple peluk-peluk somemore.

See the cups in the picture? They served tea too.

And me.
I had a 30 minute session at 6th floor Times Square for RM20,  which was a promotion price. And the boss there was very polite.
Can hardly find polite attendants nowadays. Around 9/10 gives you tulan face for having to serve you.
The skin around my foot did become slightly smoother after that.

Shopping shopping!

This is the greatest deal I have ever had! Look at I bought today from the warehouse sales..

These two pairs of heels, from Bonita...
Both of them, cost me only RM19!!!!

Yes, two pairs for RM19!! They are not pasar malam quality but Bonita(not branded but still something). Is this amazing or what?

And the price tag is still attached, which says RM139!! Their condition is still superb, with some minor scratches and minor faulty parts which are not significant when worn. And I look elegent in them!

Is this the indication that luck has finally come back to me? I'd been looking for these kinda heels high and low and they had now come to me, in double!

I have also bought some rubbish that I don't really need but just couldn't resist buying because they are so cheap. .. . I guess this is some psychology, they give the consumers some good deal and in return, the consumers buy more than what they need.

Anyhow, these pairs of shoes made my day!
