It was fine but...

I flunk my paper, it was fine.

But it wasn't so when people around you were over-concerned bout it. I was keeping it low but everyone seemed to know when acca results was releasing.

Just a day before it released, I went to my friend's place to pai nin. As soon as I sat down in front of the mahjong table, my friend pointed a finger at me and said "Oi! The results is gonna release tomorrow." Good. Now everyone knew about it. The other one said, "So bad la you, remind her of that at this happy moment." She got offended, "What! I'm expecting her to pass." Even better. But what if it turned out otherwise? Did you consider that? "Oh, I don't want to know bt it myself. I said. But she didn't get it. Before I left, she stopped me and said above her voice, "Wenhui! I'll be waiting for your good news!"(hinting me to let her know bout the results asap.)  "Me too!"said another girl.

Since when my results has become everyone's business. "Harr..." was all I could say.

And the next day I didn't tell anyone of them about my results. They didn't ask and they probably could've guessed. But why?? Why do you need to know? Maybe I'm defensive but I think sometimes people poke their nose in your stuff merely out of bitchiness rather than care, and being competitive.

Hello, give me room to breathe and to heal my wound just in case I'm not doing so well can or not? When u fail your paper the last thing you want is the whole world to know.
Sulking is a plane you wanna fly solo.

Failing a paper or two was fine, it really was!

So I didn't mourn over it long before I decided to brace up and to fight for the next war. And my first resolution was to quit FB because I was spending so much time on it. I need to spend more time with books! And thus I deactivated it.

AND YET it became another issue, the ji muis found out about it and starting asking me why why WHY? I was being all positive I wanted to study and now it seemed to them I was heavily stricken.....*sigh*

And to avoid being bombarded with questions I also turned down an outing with them on Sunday. I don't know what they would think again but I couldn't care anymore.

P/S: Thanks for drawing everyone's attention to my failure and thanks for magnifying my grief. Thank you!

Blur Case

This morning I arrived at the office waiting to be served but no one was there. I didn't want to wait long so I found the hp number of the person in charge(David) and asked why was the place left unattended. Before he replied, someone came back and I forgot about the message I sent.

About 1 to 2 hours later, someone whose number I didn't save in my hp sms-ed me.

016-&*$#@%#: Come to canteen 2 la.

Me: Who are u? (I thought it's my coursemate looking for me!)

No replies for another 30 minutes.

016-&*$#@%#: David

LOL!

If you don't get it, I found it funny because I was the one who started the smse and yet I asked him who he is when he answered. And it instantly put a smile on my face thinking of my own silliness eventhough my mood wasn't right then because I was so tensed up!

And imagine if you are David.
